Dr Yvonne Gale

Yvonne is an experience board director focusing on entrepreneurial finance. She is the CEO of NEL Fund Managers, a North East economic development impact investor focused on changing local economies through investing in growing small businesses. In this role she holds the UK Financial Conduct Authority approvals SMF1 and SMF3.

She is a Non-Executive Director at the Office of the Small Business Commissioner, for Shared Interest, the ethical finance provider specialising Fair Trade products and the North East Local Enterprise Partnership Business Growth Board.

By profession an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, Yvonne volunteers in supporting local accountants through being the Deputy President of the Northern Society of Chartered Accountants and as a Trustee of the Millfield House Foundation, a charity focused on addressing poverty and inequality through policy change and as a Trustee of the Shared Interest Foundation. In additional to her accountancy qualification, Yvonne holds an MBA, DBA and Diploma in Company Direction.
